We are seeking a proactive and organised Operations Supervisor to support the daily delivery of safe, reliable transport services aligned with Cross Country Rentals. This role is critical in coordinating drivers, vehicles, schedules, and operational activities to ensure our network runs efficiently and customers receive a high-quality service.

In this fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in managing daily operations, supporting drivers, and ensuring services are delivered on time and safely. You will be the link between drivers, fleet, and clients—keeping communication clear and operations running smoothly.

This is a full-time permanent role, Monday to Friday, with an on-call component required to manage service issues, delays, and other operational needs when necessary.

The role:

  • Coordinate daily operations - driver scheduling, rostering, run allocation, providing real-time updates through effective communication.

  • Delivering high-quality customer service through enquiry handling, quotation preparation, and booking coordination.

  • Ensure consistent, on-time service delivery by managing disruptions, resolving issues quickly, and keeping drivers and clients accurately informed.

  • Coordinate vehicle allocation, manage minor fleet issues, and ensure safe, efficient utilisation of our fleet.

  • Drive operational improvements by identifying inefficiencies, sharing insights, and contributing to training and future planning.

  • Collaborate with drivers and teams to support daily operations, provide guidance, and assist with onboarding and training.

We are looking for:

  • Full New Zealand Driver's Licence with a Passenger Endorsement (or the ability to obtain one).
